| A mentor can
provide the opportunity to explore an individual's situation
one-on-one.
In larger organisation the politics which
often surround an individual's willingness to be frank on work related
issues can make an external mentor the preferred choice. Mentoring
works extremely well when run alongside a formal performance
management process conducted by line management.
In smaller organisations management may
lack opportunities to get input on some key issues. The mentor can
also be effective in helping set and review deadlines around key actions.
Would you benefit from discussing ideas with an
independent, non-judgmental mentor?
